Accred1

A Word About Accreditation

If your sole purpose of needing an education is for the Gospel Ministry or a related field within Christian ministry, secular accreditation is not necessary or required. All Christian churches accept quality Christian education regardless of which accreditation group, if any, the school is with. If you are studying for other than the ministry, to become a business administrator, engineer, lawyer, etc., make sure that the school at which you are going to study belongs to a reginal accrediting association. In secular education, regional accreditation is essential. For education of these in Christian service, secular accreditation does little other than making the tuition beyond the reach of most ministers.

However, the North Carolina College of Theology has been able to secure full accreditation through Southern Accrediting Association of Christian Schools (717-854-1077).

We have been able to secure this private accreditation and keep our tuition costs at a minimum. We are proud to be associated with these accrediting institution for Christian schools in the United States and abroad.

WE USE ONLY THE CURRICULUM AND REFERENCE MATERIALS FROM OUR MAIN CAMPUS, WHICH HOLD OUR ACCREDITATION - NORTH CAROLINA COLLEGE OF THEOLOGY P.O. BOX 865 CAROLINA BEACH, NC 28428. DR J. L. COOK, PRESIDENT.

Transferred Credits
The North Carolina College of Theology reserves the right to allow, or not to allow credits earned at other institutions for similar courses taken at the institution. If credit is allowed, the candidate will be assessed $2.00 per each hour. These hours may exceed 60% of the required hours for graduation from the North Carolina College of Theology.
